Open Spaces Magazine is based out of Dover, Delaware and explores the connection between Art, Nature & Humans. The fourth issue explores the idea of being in transit, through various physical mediums of mobility but also metaphorically, by being in transit in this lifetime. Asia emerges as a central motif across many of our articles: from horseback riding in the grasslands of Mongolia, a multi-sensorial train ride along the Sri Lankan coast, slowing down the pace in Okinawa, Japan to a land art festival in the mountains of Sa Ladakh in India. We swim through an intimate personal essay on the awe of open-water swimming and discuss the intricate relationship between nature, art and technology in an interview with the artist duo Drift.
