Toxic & Friends Metal prints
Each one pierced with needles of the other's design Through years of hurt and pain they've compounded Leaving wounds that will never fully be grounded Each afraid to remove a needle, to take the first step For fear the other will not follow, and the cycle's kept One may try to heal, to take a needle out Only for the other to retaliate, to scream and shout Slowly, ever so slowly, the needles may come undone One by one, they may heal, but it's never quite done For as soon as one is taken out, the other strikes back Leaving the other person with a new attack In this toxic dance, they continue to sway Hurt and pain building up, day by day For a relationship to heal, they must take the leap To remove all the needles and the pain they keep It's a risk, a gamble, to trust the other once more To start anew, to rebuild what was broken before But until they do, the voodoo dolls will remain A symbol of pain, of hurt, and of endless disdain. -Jet • Aluminum metal surface •
