Perennial shrub with white flowers and pink, purplish fruit. Used as ground cover in dummy, dry locations and soil stabilizer. .5 go 1 ft tall. Spreads by rhizomes to form larger colonies. Native habitat 10A, 10B, 11, 8A, 8B, 9A, 9B Propagated by division and seeds. Evergreen in South Florida. Deciduous in Northern Florida. Blooms late spring to mid summer. Fulls sun to part shade. Prefers dry locations with good drainage. High tolerance for salt spray. Fruits eaten by small mammals and gopher tortoises. Geobalanus oblongfolius ( or Licania michauxii) 1 gallon
