Perennial with white or blue flowers and green, black fruit.  Use as a small shrub in wildflower garden.  The is plant is a legume and is useful for nutrient poor soils. Toxic to livestock and humans. 2-5 ft tall by 2-4 ft wide Suitable to grow in: 8A, 8B, 9A Winter dormant, Flowers March-May. Best planted in full sun, part shade Somewhat moist to long dry periods.   Laval host for wild indigo dusky wing and Zarucco dusky wing butterflies. Food for deer and rabbits.  Baptisia alba or Baptista australis 1 gallon
