Rear Axle Upper shock mount custom designed to fit 99-07 Silverado / Sierra 1500 ½ ton trucks that have round tubular frame stiffening crossmember. Qty Included - One (1) shock mount brackets made from 11 gauge mild steel. This was manufactured using custom jig, allowing for proper cut and correct bolt hole alignment, we then utilize custom dies to fold/bend the steel with a press, to achieve the correct dimensional width. Our pre-fabricated shock mount is then coated with light machine oil, and placed in a labeled bag. We produce our parts in small 200-300 piece lots to run random quality checks against a control piece and adjust any machines or tooling. As the OE piece has proven to have a few potential issues and is difficult to find a replacement for, we have taken these steps to design and manufacture a quality replacement.
