Talking Points | Hey, What's Your Shirt Mean? I love Jesus! This one's pretty self-explanatory I think! But -- it still displays a message to the world, a reminder. Of course, we will all have different answers on why we love Jesus, but for me...I love Jesus because He loved me (and you!) enough to die a painful and humiliating death on the cross to forgive us of our sins and to pave the way for salvation and eternal life. Jesus knew what was coming, and in the days (and years) leading up to His death on the cross, He endured many heartaches including betrayal by those closest to HIm. I mean really, Judas is sitting there scheming how he is going to betray Judas, all the while Jesus knowing Judas is going to betray him, and he's washing Judas's feet!! If Jesus loves us this much, and teaches us to love like Him, how can we not love Him? He expects nothing in return, no hoops we have to jump through ... He loves us unconditionally.
