Talking Points | Hey, What's Your Shirt Mean? Jesus is the ONLY path to salvation. Jesus saves! I know that Biblically, Jesus saves is discussing actual salvation, as in where we will spend eternity, but I think it's important to note that Jesus saves us here on Earth, too. It makes me so, so sad to think of how the lost cope here on earth -- literally just with living! The world itself has become such a scary place. To the person who has no hope of spending eternity in heaven, to the person who doesn't call out to God both in times of trouble and to rejoice in times of happiness, for the person who doesn't feel that sense of peace in knowing and trusting Jesus ... how do they cope? Who (or what) do they call out to in times of despair? How do they make it without seeing the little "God winks" He sends us to remind us He's there? Jesus SAVES us while we are here on earth, too. The relationship we have with Him is what keeps us going through everything -- the good and the bad!  And of
