Don't waste your time with torque converter adapters that still rely on the weak stock flexplate. Upgrade to a fully billet CNC machined flexplate from the start for maximum power holding and durability.  SFI Certified for 1.1 Spec and 1.2 Spec. The steel converter pilot adapter fits into the pilot register on the flexplate to prevent unwanted noise from slip-fit parts and to properly align the converter to the crankshaft.
