PURPLE CAFTAN

Made on a back-strap loom with bright, naturally dyed, 100% cotton, these traditional 'Huipiles de Telar' are created in remote mountainous areas outside Oaxaca by a co-op of indigenous female makers. This caftan style is soft and supple with designs done in an animal motif.
