Small Lion Plate – Warm Brown

This sturdy stoneware plate would be the perfect size for cookies with your tea or as a feline themed trinket dish.  It can also be displayed upright on a stand, as a unique little art piece.  The sweet lion, with a ruffle of potter’s glaze for a mane, has a character all his own. Dimensions: 1"h x 5.25"d x 5.25"w This functional, food safe plate was created on a potter’s wheel by Terry Parker.  It was decorated by Michelle Lichter, using underglazes, tiny paintbrushes, wax resist, and dipping in a blue green glaze with warm brown accents.
