Venne Cotton - 8/2 Organic

8/2 Organic Cotton is a premium yarn from Venne of The Netherlands. Grown and produced under strict standards this yarn is certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). GOTS certification ensures a high-quality yarn, and one produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. And it’s super soft! Available on 100 gram cones in 52 vibrant colors.  It is more a "homespun" look than Bockens Egyptian cotton, it is very absorbent for towels. We like it sett just a tad looser than the Egyptian 8/2.   Approx. 710 yards per 100 gram spool 3,230 yards per pound Sett suggestions 16-24 epi White 7007 is available on 250 gram cones, with 1775 yards. 8/2 organic cotton is also available on large 1 kilo cones (1000 grams = approx 2.2 pounds) for $96.00 a cone.
