Sorrel is the classic "pot-herb", meaning a leafy vegetable that comes with a lot of flavor! Great harvested as a baby-leaf for salads, where it's tangy lemon zing adds interest, and a wonderful partner to fish or potatoes when full-grown & cooked, whereupon it becomes spinach-like, mild, and loses the sharp zing. This is a great perennial option known to grow through both winter and summer in our area without much tending. 45d baby, 60d full size.
