In uptown Greenville, there was a Golden Age of campus joints in the 80s and 90s, and Sports Pad on Cotanche Street was definitely a favorite. Housed in an historic, red-brick building, it was also home to the Pirate's Den and more recently, Fitzgerald's. Many ECU students learned to play pool on the tables there, too.
