Chunky Fjolskylda Lopi-Style Yarn | Charcoal

Our lopi-style yarn takes full advantage of our Icelandic sheeps' dual-coated fleece. The yarn is not plied, but more like a roving with a slight twist - creating an airier, warmer knit. Our Charcoal lopi-style yarn comes from our ewe Katniss and lamb Nòmi - creating what we are calling Fjölskylda, or family-style yarn. This yarn takes advantage of the strength of the ewe's tog (outercoat) and eliminates some of the pickiness with the softness of the lambswool. Compare our lopi-style with commercial brands!
