To weave thick and warm scarves with pockets of air between layers for added insulation, Deanna explored differential shrinkage using networked doubleweave. To create the diffen¬tial shrinkage she chose two types of merino wool: one that fulls beautifully and one that doesn’t full at all. STRUCTURE: Networked doubleweave.
