The Sun is About to Shine Again is inspired by the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras. I It is created from recycled plastic, etched and anodized aluminum, and seed beads. The plastic is melted and fused together to create 3-dimensional forms and flowers. Some of these flowers have seed beads added to accentuate the form and add color. The etched and anodized aluminum is formed into flower like designs. These elements are then highlighted with alcohol inks to bring out the texture in the etching and give a shimmer like quality to the metal. The orange and yellow hues lay on the body in the place of the chakras they represent.
