When we discovered these briney little orbs of deliciousness we decided we needed to make these ourselves because they are perfect on a cheese board. Mustard (which we also love) can be overpowering to the mild and delicate flavors of a lot of cheeses. So with pickled mustard seed you get all the character without all the bite.
