One of the "Blue Ribbon" saws made by Simonds, this No 372 is a slender skewback crosscut saw in 8ppi, with a wheat-carved apple handle. Simonds made their own steel with quality that is on a par with the best in the world. These saws sharpen well and stay sharp for a long time. The plate is clean and straight. The finish on the handle has some chips and abrasions consistent with a 100+ year old tool, but otherwise is solid and free of cracks and chips.
