Tool – Wave Medium #10

Tool – Wave Medium #10

$8.00

Wave Medium #10 – Take your original tool designs to the next level using all 4 sides and corners of this tool! Use the dimension of the tool profile to create your design. Three wave variations approximately the same length but with slightly different starting and ending shapes – two are curved and two are more pointed. Makes flowing repetitive marks for the “dragon flower” pattern. Use it like the wavy edges like the concave edge of the SC-3” Straight Curve tool, but with a curve. The wavy end is great for accenting a previous mark to squish and reinforce the marks like on the branches of the Tree of Life pattern. The corner of the straighter edge can be used as a starting point for a pattern rolling into the wavy edge. See my art nouveau patterns for examples of this.  I use this tool to create tree branches or making mirroring art nouveau patterns. Comes with a Tips and Techniques sheet including images of sample patterns to get you started.  Need instructions on “Pushing the Clay”?
