Crusader Knights Templar Flat Top Medieval Kite Shield

Based off of the shields carried by formidable Knights Templar and Christian Crusaders. Featuring diagonal arm straps for riding or fighting on foot, as well a guige, for carrying over the shoulder; this shield is ready for all your Crusading and battle needs! ⚔️🛡️ Our medieval, hand made, kite shields are made by family craftsmen. Constructed using historical techniques in a fashion similar to how they would have been made for knights and man-at-arms in the middle ages.  This particular variant is our "flat top" kite shield. Meant to be used as a sort of "mobile fortress." As it covers most of the body and is often used by fighting around the shield or in a shield-wall formation.  The size of this shield is roughly 42" in height by 24" in width with a nice curve across the width of the shield to help deflect blows and incoming attacks. The thickness is roughly 1/2" weighing ~10lbs when complete with hardware and finish.
