The Axolotl Tee represents the endangered species of the axolotl, who are native to Mexico and the Aztecs. In Nahuatl belief, it represented the god, Xolotl, who got mixed up in the political affairs of the other gods and decided to transform himself into an Axolotl to elude capture.
