Padded Qing Under Belt

Padded Qing Under Belt for Qing/Manchu Quiver belts I've been fascinated by these padded under-belts for a long time, and have been using mine for years! These padded arming, or under-belts can be seen on a few antiques, especially in the Palace Collection. I've also noticed them in one or two period paintings. They are great for added comfort - especially if you're loading your archery belt with a lot of weight - like when you're wearing a sword. They also make fitting your Manchu belt a lot easier, when you fall between belt sizes  And, of course, they off protection for delicate robes like silk. These are black cotton canvas
