Harley Davidson Motorcycle Fender Trim Necklace, with rose gold and carnelian

Grit meets sunshine on the open road in this striking fusion of past and present. I transformed salvaged Harley-Davidson fender trim into the heart of this necklace—framing it in a custom-built structure of solid 14k rose gold. The pendant is fully fabricated from precious metal: the backplate, sides, and bezel are all solid 14k rose gold, hand-formed to create a double-layered setting. At its center, I placed a glowing, faceted carnelian gemstone, surrounded by the trimmed and sculpted motorcycle part—its original curves preserved and celebrated. The fender trim becomes a symbolic halo of movement and history, captured within the warmth of fine gold. I suspended the pendant on a clean, minimalist 14k rose gold chain, to let the form speak for itself.
