A forest in Northeast Washington with an even spread of yellow tamarack trees, also known as larch. I'm always smitten with larch trees in the northwest, I don't expect them and to learn that they aren't even conifers made them even more interesting. They stand out and make the autumn forest complete after blending in all summer. TITLE: Colville Tamarack Forest
