Cult of Balcones Private Barrel: Westward Whiskey Oregon Single Malt Finished in a Stout Cask

$125.00

Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Westward Whiskey in Oregon. Westward has pushed the boundaries of American spirits for almost two decades. With a deep commitment to creativity and collaboration, Westward has created a new style of American Single Malt built on the brewing culture of the pacific northwest.  This 7-year-old American Single Malt was aged for over 2.5 years in a new oak barrel and then finished for over 4.5 years in an ex-stout cask. The nose bursts with notes of cocoa powder and chocolatey cereals. The palate has a deep malty structure, with rich notes of dark chocolate s’mores, hot cocoa, and dried fruit.  Chosen specifically by and for the Cult of Balcones. The Cult Abides!
