Forged 1 Inch Round Head Nail Stud Decorative Clavos Iron with Wax Finish

This hand-forged decorative nail stud features a 1 inch wide round head and measures about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches in length. Hand forged steel / iron, it is finished with a blacksmith beeswax coating. Perfect for adding a rustic touch to doors, furniture, and woodwork, it brings an authentic and charming detail to your projects.  Note that the beeswax finish allows the character of the iron to show for an authentic look, but it is not a permanent protective finish. It can be maintained with wax or oil finishes, or If used in damp environments, the nail can be allowed to rust.
