American Hornbeam Bonsai Tree

Description The American Hornbeam leaves emerge as a reddish-purple, changing to a dark green in the summer, and finally becoming a yellow to reddish-orange color in the fall. A true kaleidoscope of color throughout the year. Winter brings out the tree's fluted blueish-gray bark and its long, sinewy ridges making it a very unique winter bonsai showpiece. As a deciduous bonsai tree, it should be kept outdoors. Specifications 8 years old, approximately 17"-19" tall. Spectacular fall foliage. Outdoor deciduous bonsai tree. May be shipped with no foliage during autumn and winter.
