Description The Japanese White Pine is a fantastic evergreen for use in bonsai. It has short, beautiful, light green needles that grow in compacted clusters. The tree is broad, and like it's cousin the Japanese Black Pine, it's slow growing. This specimen really shows its age well: It has gnarly, old looking bark that's dripping with sap. The base of the trunk shows a mass of roots, and the shape is an elegant and natural style. It is an outdoor evergreen, and needs to be keep outdoors. Specifications 63 years old, 30" x 26" x 23" tall. Recommended outdoor evergreen bonsai tree. Potted in a 16.5" brown oval mica container.
