Civil War Fife and Drum Medley

(Piccolos, fifes in Bb (optional), snare drums, bass drum) Four famous Civil War tunes: "Battle Cry of Freedom", "Tramp, Tramp, Tramp", "Kingdom Coming" and "Battle Hymn of the Republic", plus the traditional drum cadence "Army 6/8", arranged in a durable medley. Compiled from the original 19th-century tune settings by David Lovrien. Traditional fifes in B-flat may be used, plus as many piccolos as you can muster! Percussion consists of two snares (the solo part to be played preferably on a colonial rope drum) and a bass drum.
