  Yamaaki - This pot is a classic workhorse pot by Yamaaki.  The size and shape make it a pot that is not only beautiful but very useful for many sizes and shapes of tree.  This pot is used and has the Yamaaki chop (stamp) on the bottom. Akitsuga, the first-generation potter, created highly sought-after pots, some now 6 decades old. His son, Sadamitsu Kataoka (Koshosen), the second generation, surpassed his father in diversity, construction, quality, and value. Toshio Kataoka, the third generation, led the kiln until its closure in 2011. Despite distinct styles, all Yamaaki pots boast good quality and usability.
