PPG HOTLINE inspired wall sculpture. ships in 1-2 weeks ARTIST STATEMENT Much like how the Powerpuff Girls responded to the Mayor’s hotline whenever there was trouble in Townsville, I’ve treated my mother’s number like my own emergency line throughout my art career, and life in general. Every time I was unsure, excited, anxious, or on the brink of something new, I’d call her. It’s been my instinct. Just like the hotline summoned superheroes to save the day, my mother’s voice brought clarity, courage, and grounding to each step of my creative journey. She has never been just a parent to me, she’s the unseen force behind my decisions, the consistent presence behind the scenes, reminding me that I’m not alone in this… Then one day the hotline stopped working. I still reach for the phone sometimes, forgetting there wont be an answer. And yet, somehow, her voice still echoes in my decisions. Her encouragement, her questions, her honesty continues to impact me. The silence where her guidance
