Matched Pair CBS Hytron 6SN7 6SN7GT Vacuum Tubes Valves Black T Plates

This matched pair of CBS-Hytron 6SN7GT dual triodes was tested on our Paul Hart-calibrated TV7/U for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured 71/70 for Tube One and 75/71 for Tube Two where minimum (65%) is 50/50. They have steel support rods; black T-plates; D getters; chevrons incised in their top mica spacers and AN and AF date codes, respectively. Both have "6SN7GTB" silkscreened on their bases as well as "6SN7GT" on the tops of their bottles. As I write, I am playing them in my Alan Eaton single-ended 45 amplifier with Mobile Fidelity's 180 gram pressing of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" and they sound tremendous.
