Matched Pair EI Smooth Plate 12AX7 ECC83 Vacuum Tubes Valves NOS-Testing

This new old stock-testing matched pair of EI smooth plate 12AX7 /ECC83 dual triodes was tested on our Paul Hart-calibrated TV7/U for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured 40/44 for Tube One and 42/42 for Tube Two where minimum (65%) is 26/26 and 100% is 40/40. Ei Tubes are very similar to Telefunken as Telefunken engineers set up their manufacturing plant with Telefunken equipment and supplies. I am playing them with adapters in my ArtSound 805 monoblocks with "Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band." Lennon's guitar, Ringo's drums and Voorman's bass sound terrific! Even Yoko sounds pretty good.
