Matched Pair Sylvania 7F7 T-Plate Vacuum Tubes Valves

This matched pair of Sylvania 7F7 dual triodes was tested on our Paul Hart-calibrated TV7/U for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Tube One measured 44/41 while Tube Two measured 44/43 where minimum (65%) is 33 (65%) is 33/33 and 100% is 51/51. I have played them in my AC-heated Alan Eaton single-ended 45 amplifier with adapters (not included) and they sound outstanding. They are dead quiet when the preamp is muted and have excellent frequency response, sound-staging, and dynamics (even though this amplifier was designed for 6SN7/7N7s).
