Mimo Gold Small Seconds Dress Watch 1940s With New Lizard Strap Hand Wind

This Swiss-made, hand-winding Mimo men's / Unisex dress watch may look rather small, but that was the fashion back in the 1940s. It is 28MM wide from the extreme left to the tip of the winding stem on the right. Its lug-to-lug distance is approximately 38MM and — to give you scale — the wrist shown is approximately 8.5 inches in circumference. It comes with a new, dark brown Italian lizard a band. It has a nine jewel In-house Mimo movement which is in excellent shape with no oxidation or water damage. (It returned mid-January from a complete -- and rather-expensive -- overhaul and is clean, oiled and keeping very good time. Its crystal, winding stem and seconds hand were replaced. The face has quite a nice patina and the case has a wonderful, curved, art nouveau look. Its band is a new alligator calf skin IW Suisse with a stainless buckle.
