Sylvania 12AT7 ECC81 Vacuum Tube Valve NOS NIB

This new old stock, new in box Sylvania 12AT7 / ECC81 dual triode was tested on our Maxi Preamp II for shorts, gas, noise, transconductance and gain. There were no shorts, noise or gas and it measures as follows: Noise: -84 dB / -85.7 dB (-92 dB is the Maxi-Matcher's noise floor) Conductance: 1917/ 1928 Gain: 42.2/43.7 where 50/50 is new/nominal. This tube has beautiful silkscreening; aa ABS date codes; shiny, black ladder plates, copper support rods and outstanding flashing. I have played it in my Bottlehead Crack headphone amplifier and it sounds very good though this amp is not optimized for this tube type, but rather for 12AU7s.
