Voyage Imaginaire I (Elephant)

In Voyage Imaginaire I, Boulanger has used her child-like imagery and whimsical imagination to bring to life this fantastical scene of young musicians preforming a concert atop an elephant. Like so much of her work, the children are well-rounded in their presence. Boulanger's interpretation in each subject emphasizes their different mode and sensitivies--creating an ambiance that is rich and full of life.
