Purple Dumortierite Slab

Purple is a much rarer color to find in dumortierite, which is most commonly blue. The black areas in this material are tourmaline, which add a fantastic element of contrast to the purple. This is a rough, unpolished slab. Please observe images closely for flaws, as some degree of that is normal. Pictured wet and dry.
