Blended with approximately 5% red wine from plots of old vines in Ambonnay, it's fresh and fruity on the nose, with aromas of fresh raspberries, peach or nectarine, and saline. The palate is powerful and appealing, and the ripeness of the fruit is long on the palate, with notes of orange oil, citrus oils grapefruit, and a clean, stony finish. Drink over the coming 15 years. 15,000 bottles per year are produced."
