Sun Thickened Linseed Oil • 4oz.Medium viscosity organic linseed oil, hand-refined and exposed to Colorado sunshine.Our organic, hand-refined version of a classic painting medium used for centuries in traditional painting methods. Perfect as a basis for glazing mediums, this thickened, pre-polymerized oil imparts gloss, high film strength and rapid-drying properties, reducing the need for added resins in 3-part mediums. Sun thickened linseed oil can be added directly to oil paints in small quantities, or used in combination with a solvent to create a spectrum of lean to fat mixtures for extended, layered techniques.
