A shaped bread made of the same dough as our pistolettes. Cut into a shape & usually flavoring added (herbs, garlic or olive oil) and Maldon salt on top. Large are just under 400g dough (same as a pistolette), and small are half of that about 190g dough. Traditionally baked to test the temperature of the old wood fired ovens. So Good to break off pieces and eat as a snack with butter or dips. Also fabulous used like a trivet to cook a chicken, roast or roasted veggies on!
