After spending years as Virgil Abloh’s right-hand assistant and consultant, young, Brixton-born designer, Samuel Ross, ventured on his own to create the world-recognized menswear brand, A-COLD-WALL*. According to Ross, at its core, A-COLD-WALL* is an esoteric art project that explores the nuances and disparities of the British class system, incorporating many utilitarian materials with everyday styles. Teaming with Nike earlier this season with their Zoom Vomero drop, the two now come together to put a unique spin on a Nike classic. The new Nike collaboration with A-COLD-WALL* features a new iteration of the Air Force 1s, coming constructed with Nike’s Flyleather material, which is made with at least 50 percent recycled natural leather fiber.
