A new collaborative collection from luxury sportswear designer Eric Emanuel and Adidas explores the intersection between through the worlds of sports and fashion, through a common thread, the full travel itineraries inherent to both fields of endeavor. Inspired by the hotel room décor on a Fashion Week excursion to Paris, Emanuel outfits a range of basketball centric footwear and apparel in a floral print backed by a neutral, ‘linen’ shade and pink and green tones. With the exception of all-over print basketball shorts, the collection’s apparel utilizes the floral pattern in a predominantly complementary role, allowing the individual pieces to function as one part of a complete look. Both aspects of the motif take center stage on respective editions of the classic, Rivalry basketball silhouette. The retro Rivalry Hi adorns the entirety of its leather upper with the floral pattern, while the modern update Rivalry Restomod features a neutral, nubuck upper with dark green stripe branding
