The Vault by Vans range is built around a simple enough concept, rework the timeless style of the brand's classic models with high end construction and the occasional progressive design tweak. The fashion oriented twist on Vans originals has found a ready collaborator in artist and designer Taka Hayahi, whose work for Vault by Vans has covered a wide range of aesthetic territory.  Hayashi's latest capsule for Vault by Vans puts the designer's individualistic stamp on familiar Vans classics.  The iconic checkerboard slip on, the ultimate symbol of the "off the wall" ethos, is reimagined as sleek, refined, style. A lush black suede upper and dark gum sole are accented by sidewalls featuring the checkerboard pattern.  If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
