Pottery Workshop

Studio space is limited to a total of 6 attendees.  The workshop is an hour and a half to 2 hours long.  Clay, supplies, and kiln firing are included.  Hand-building techniques we will cover in this course are pinch pottery, coil building, slabs and molds. This is a hand-building workshop only. For your finished piece, you can choose to have it glazed and fired by studio staff, or you can choose to sign up for a future glazing workshop where you will learn the process of finishing your piece yourself. PLEASE NOTE: Clay must dry slowly. In warm weather, your piece will be covered to dry slowly for at least a week (depending on size and complexity). In cold and wet weather, pieces will dry much more slowly and can take up to 3 weeks. We can only start the firing and glazing when your piece is completely dry.  When your piece is ready, we will notify you of what day and time they can be picked up.  This workshop is for ages 16 and up.
