BG-GAT Double Set - Trap Against Egg-Laying Tiger Mosquitoes - Biogents

Biogents' BG-GAT (Gravid Aedes Trap) is a low-cost and easy to use tool that was specially developed to help you reduce the Asian tiger (Aedes albopictus) and yellow fever mosquito (Aedes aegypti) population in your backyard. These species are day biters, very aggressive, and can transmit diseases like dengue fever, Zika, and chikungunya.  In comparison to the BG-Mosquitaire trap, it targets a different stage of the mosquitoes: Mosquitoes that have already bitten and are now searching for a place to lay their eggs. Since they are only a small percentage of those that are host-seeking, the BG-GAT catches naturally fewer mosquitoes than the BG-Mosquitaire.The big advantage of this trap version is that it is passive, which means it does not require power or supplemental attractants like CO2 or chemical lures.
