Lion Heraldique is a French jacquard cushion cover based on the original tapestry woven in 1890 by William Morris (1836-1896), famous British artist and designer. This design was part a set of 6 tapestries called The Holy Grail series. This scene symbolizes the Quest for the Unicorn by King Arthur's legendary twenty-four knights. Around him the coat of arms of some of the nights are displayed. The Lion represents the most courageous knights.
