Model The DW 800 is a mattress with a multi-layered cold foam/polyurethane foam core. It has multiple air holes cut into the side of the mattress. The air holes in the shoulder region are large to allow the shoulder to sink further into the mattress so that the spinal cord aligns horizontally. The airholes in the lumbar region, in contrast, are smaller to provide firmer support. All airholes have a vertical cut in the center so that adjacent holes will not restrict the abilities of each airhole to shape to the body. In this way, the DW 800 has both firm support and a body-shaping structure which is ideal for backs that need pinpoint support and curvaceous bodies. The mattress cover – made from Tencel, fabric woven from the Eucalyptus tree, has superior perspiration absorptive properties.
