Unisex Hasselbladski
The Hasselbladski / Kiev 88 was a medium format, BAD Ukranian copy of the Hasselblad 1600F. It began life under the name Salyut around 1957, manufactured by the Arsenal State Enterprise of Special Instrumentation in Kiev. Its shutter was your "crash-bang" variety and it was built like a tank with a top speed of 1/1000 sec but only 1/30 for flash sync. Think available light only. The camera was fondly referred to as the "Hasselbladski" and there's an old story that when Hasselblad asked the Soviets to stop ripping off their designs, they were informed that both Kiev Arsenal and Hasselblad had actually ripped off a Nazi prototype... Which apparently has never surfaced.
