Alter Oud is a perfume that means a lot to me. It was even nominated for an award the first year it came out! I made this scent to celebrate my family and our culture.  This perfume smells like our family's home altar, which is a special place in our house that made me see my spirit's alter ego . It's called 'bàn thờ' in Vietnamese. Our altar has incense, jasmine rice, fruits, and treats. I remember this wonderful smell when I came home every day. I mixed this special scent with something called 'oud' from Vietnam, which makes it rich and deep. I also added herbs from 'pho,' saffron, fruits, turmeric, and jasmine rice to make it even more special.
